What a busy Chiquita…

2 06 2008

Hello to the People!

Well, I have had the most wonderful and busy weekend!  I love the summer time.  There are so many more people around to love me, it seems.  On Saturday.  Tengo que pasar tiempo con mis dos tías favoritas.  Tia Corinne + Tia Alex.  We went to the Farmers Market at Trout Lake.  There were ssssooo many people, and other dogs, it was loco.  I got lost of course.  Nothing like stressing out your human friends…..  The big E, was not impressed, but I had found stuff that I really really needed to roll around in.  Then, my favorite.  Tia Alex shared her muffin with me, later when we went to JJ Bean!  I don’t know what flavor it was, but it was good!  I love my weekend visits.

On Sunday I went on quite the adventure, for such a small Chiquita.  The big E, his amiga + I went to the Light House Park in West Vancouver.  It was very far, and we went for such a nice long walk.  We were in the forest!  Where all of the “wild” animals live.  There were many big dogs- not that I am scared of them….  I just don’t like it when there is more then one of them around.  It makes sniffing of their bottoms difficult, you know.  It seemed like we walked forever, but soon we found the shore.  And, when we did; we had a picnic!  It was such fun, and I was such a good guard dog- not one wild animal or person came near the food!  The big E called me “embarrassingly fierce”.  I am still trying to figure that one out, but I did not see him trying to protect the sushi.  Thank god I was there for him!

I think he knows how lucky he is to have me in his life.  Ciao for now Mundo!  Besos!

What a FUN week!

26 05 2008

Hola Amigos!

Besos to you all! I have had such a fun + busy week! I am happy that the big E finally has some time to sit down and write about it.

My friend Dillon has been staying with us all week! It has been such fu

n! His two Mommies went on a trip to America in order to watch the Famous Indianapolis 500 Nascar race. Do you think they will be the only gays there? Erek is shaking his head, si…. [well let's say openly gay] I hope they are ok. They will be home tonight, so we will soon find out.

But more about my fun with Dillon…. We have

been racing around the barrio like the true gangsta’s we are; all week! Barking and screeching at any dog that came by my turf. It has been great having “back up”. Wrestling in the house and playing non stop. He is

a good companion. I will miss him when he leaves tonight.

Erek really hopes I stop barking when Dillon leaves. He tells me I have been a yappy embarrassment of a small dog. Que?

What kind of America is this?

Hello to the People!

Well a lot has gone on in the Senorita’s life since I last wrote…. For example, I lived through and survived my first “snow storm”, up here in Canada. Let me tell ya’ll folks, it was quite inconvenient!

Beside the cold factor, and the indignity of having to wear the “coat”. My feet were cold. I could not walk very far, the big E had to carry me home….

This weather is really annoying. How long does it last? It really interferes with my need to be nude! I hate the collars, clothing, + harnesses. What is a girl too do?

But, more importantly People; I have a very important issue to draw your attention to:

http://www.pasadosafehaven.org/KATRINA/DOGSHOOTING/HISTORY.htm

I need you to keep the message going, so we can keep pressure up + find the evil people; that would make suffer and kill, my brothers and sisters. What kind of person takes pleasure in making an innocent animal suffer and dye and agonizing death? Especially, after all they had already been through…. And remember too Mundu, these aren’t just ordinary Murderers, dis is the STATE murdering defenseless animals. The people who should be protecting us all! What kind of America is this? What kind of World is this?

Please help and pass the message on…!

And please remember, when Mr. Steven Colbert is voted in as President of di Amaericano’s These atrocities will end! Colbert/08!

The Fall leaves…..

15 11 2007

Hola to the People!

I have been sssooo busy this past week. There has been much action in front of my home and in the bario…. The People, are celebrating one of my favorite rituals- they do. They are raking up their leaves! The people, rake up their leaves into huge, gigantic piles. And they are so nice to the Chavez [they must know how much I love them]…. because they leave these leaves there for along time for me to play in. I love running, and jumping from pile to pile! I can usually burro myself in the pile if I am really good about how I go! I find it quite wonderful, there are so many smells all mixed up together that I have to investigate!  So many things to do!

I like this time of year too, because the snuggly stuff comes out!  For example the big E, put the cozy fleece sheets on the bed!  They are so warm, that sometimes I am feeling like I am sweating.  Just like in the leaves, I like to burro right into the middle of of the sheets in the bed and snuggle up.  I feel safest and warmest that way.

I wonder if they have the same rituals in Japan?  Do the Japanese People rake the leaves for their pero’s too?  They seem to do everything else there for there dogs.  On the TV show, I was telling you about last time….  I saw a man take a shower and blow dry with his dog in this giant box.  It looked like they were inside of a mini car wash.  It looked scary, really.  I wonder if Erek would do that with me?  After all, I have gone with him to the car wash.  Twice.

Hello to the People!

Do you like the photo of Blink & I? There is some love! We often eat out of the same bowl at meal times! So now, the big E, just makes sure I get enough before Blink “takes over”. We are both on the BARF diet. I love it! But, I will talk more about that another time my friends…..

Because tonight, I would like to talk about a new place…. where I need to go! Senorita Chavez has discovered Japan! More importantly people, Tokyo….! I see a show on the T.V. about life for dogs in Tokyo. It was unbelievable, and I want to know….. how to get there? In Tokyo, people very much love their dogs! They find other dogs to marry you, they you take to the spa, and bathes. They have special hotels, clothing and restaurants! The people even “rent” dogs! Could you imagine renting the Senorita!?

But seriously; I want to go People! The Japanese need to meet the Chavez. And the Chavez is dying to be indulged by the people of Japan!

If you love the Chavez….. Help me fund raise for Japan!

Everybody has a cousin that is a bit Loco…. Si!?

Hola People!

Well, I have finally recovered from Halloween. By the the way, some of the noises I was hearing, did turn out to be real gun shots! ;o] Welcome to the bario…. mi amigos. This Vancouver place, I still don’t know if I like….. I thought when I left New Orleans, I was leaving that sort of thing behind. I did not think it would be in Canada too?

So, I would like to introduce you to my cousin- Quinn, he is a Wheaton Terrier. He lives in Winnipeg. Notice in the picture, he is attached to the rope. Quinn is always attached too the rope. Mi Tío Spencer y Tía Nicole, searched for many many years, for their special Terrior. That’s right, and it is so sad because he is Loco! I think he is too “inbred”. He keeps attacking Tío Spencer y Tía Nicole! He likes to bite Tío Spencer’s nipples and Tía Nicole’s bottom. I don’t think they own anything that is not torn…. Please watch the video evidence that Tío Spencer, sent….

Heh!? Need I say more….

I have heard from some of the people that they think my opinion of Senora Blink is too harsh. I will try to get the video too of the Blink in action. Then, you will see!

This weekend I went to one of my favorite stores in Vancouver. The Tisol on Main St.

http://www.tisol.ca/index.asp

It has everything I could need! And the people who work there know ssoo much about critters. I usually love to go! Not this time, I did not know the big E would be buying me a raincoat? A Rain Coat! What a thing for a dog….. I hate wearing it! I am getting concerned….. why do I need this garment? Have I moved into a Rain forest…?

Look what I can do…!

Hola to the People!

Look, what I can do! I have been working on this particular subject for the past 3 days…. I am pretty proud of myself, as I have already managed to take one whole branch off! It brings me such pleasure to dig up the soil, as I am half terrier don’t cha know….. This is the last plant, the big E, owns. And I bet it most likely won’t get replaced. ;o)

Ok…. the real reason I am writing tonight, is…. Well it is Halloween! Happy Halloween to the People! But, I have to say to the people of Vancouver; what di hell with all the fire crackers & fire works? Or, is all that noise gun fire? You never know in my bario. This is my first Halloween here and, I think you are all LOCO! You are making me want to hide under the covers! Why, why do you do this to the Chavez? How long will this torture, go on…? Is this your version of Mardi Gras? Where is the parade, then?

Don’t forget to Blink…!

Blink

Hello to the People!

Every good story has a protagonist…. Si. Do you agree people? Well, I would like to introduce you to mine. Por favor diga Hola a la Sra. Blink. All 20lbs of her! She is a fat & smelly gato. She, has no love for me, people. Can you believe it? I know, I find it hard myself?!

At first when I came to the house of Erek, I was happy to have a friend in the house, even though it was a cat [they are creatures of El Diablo -- and cannot by trusted you know.....]. And all she would do when I came near was growl at me….. Not a nice way to introduce yourself, if you ask me! I woud ask her to play, and she would throw a punch at me…. That’s when I started to think she was a dangerous cat. I tried to talk to the big E about…. And he just asked me to give our “relationship” time to develop.

Five months later, and I tell you people, this freaking 20lbs of smell is a god damn Ninja! She stalks me, and she is quick…. like a fox. I had no idea she could move so fast….. We are like “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”!

So I have decided in order to protect my home, and my hombre– big E. I must defend at all cost [He give me such a good vida] his life. There for, I pledge to make sure that this cat Blink will never get to him…! I will always put myself in between them in sacrifice! I cannot trust that fat cat with the big-E, she might try to crush him or something. Viva la Revolution!

Angels in America…?

27 10 2007

1831.jpgHello to the People-

Do you know what it is like to have nothing left in your vida? To have it all wiped away? I fell into despair, there; in that there camp. In that gross smelly camp…. I thought it was the end of the line; for me muchachos. But much to my surprise and blessings, miracles do happen my friends! There are Angels among us!

My Angel called for me….. Her name is Yuanna. She and her friends Rescued Me! They take me from the camp. They help me come to Canada. They sponsor me, and give me shelter when I first come. Yuanna is my Mamasita, forever in my heart! I live with her and many others like myself, when I first come to Vancouver in Canada. Her house is called the “Green Room.” It is the first place I learned how to have fun again!

It is also the place where I met my knew family! Si! I know! A new home for me. One day in June 2007, this hombre and two other people come to the house. I like this man, he is nice, and he plays with me, and some others…. He very cool dude [in a Christopher Walkin kinda way-- if that's good?] Another day again, my new friend comes for a visit– Senor Erek. We hang out again…. and make plans for me to visit his home. So, one rainy day that June; Yuanna and I visit at Erek’s home. It was wonderful, I loved it! There were toys and we played, and there is a park at the end of the street! I felt so happy there, that in fact I haven’t left…! I’ve been here ever since! Erek is my new family! Oh, and also…. there’s Blink…..

American Refugee

25 10 2007

I am not of your country…. originally, you see. I was born in America- the land of the strong and the free….. You know the largest industrial complex in the world?! Proud, first generation Americana; born right down south in New Orleans….. Party Town, Mardi Gras!

But, then one day not so long ago; my vida, my life! Was changed forever! A terrible horribles storm came….. It was a scary and traumatic time for me & my family. My family, I lost them, or rather they lost me…. I’m not sure how it happened exactly….. It was such a confusing time. The People, they called this awful time “Hurricane Katrina”.

And, suddenly, I found myself a refugee? A refugee in America?!

No home to go back too, and no family to be seen….. And craziness everywhere! Did I mention how scary it was? I was still very young at the time, but I remember…. I was so hungry, and hot, and no agua. For three days I think? Then I was “picked up” like and transported to this big noisy shelter camp. The camp sucked. But the best thing about the whole thing was, I got to “hang” with my new amigo, Mr. Sean Penn [he was whipping around New Orleans, like a mad man-- righteous dude! Hi Sean]. And Miss Oprah Winfrey came to the “camp”, one day. She did not give me a car, and her dog Sophie is not so hot….

No place to go, and at the mercy of strangers….. What to do with the Senorita….? What to do? Would you believe? An Angel found me!
